Strong product developer for the Technical Department

Product development and CE approvals are some of Torben Steffensen’s competencies. Torben (aged 43) started as a Production Technologist in Aquagain’s Technical Department on 1 April 2022. He has previously developed products for the offshore industry and, more recently, tanks and filtration systems, so his skills are in order.

It’s not just Torben’s skills that secured him the job - his personality and sense of humour are a perfect fit for the department.

Torben comes from Tjæreborg but will soon move to Korskroen, where his wife, twin boys aged 12 and daughter aged 8 will have plenty of space on a disused farm. Among other things, there will be room for Torben’s 8.5-metre yacht, which he and the children use to sail around the waters of South Funen. They sail without Torben’s wife, who gets seasick just at the sight of the boat.

Torben is also very competent on the guitar and was part of the band DAD Jam for many years, which played about 50 concerts a year. Today he plays in the band Wicked, where they write their own heavy rock songs.
