Søllested wastewater treatment plant handed over despite Covid-19

In the run-up to the summer holidays, Aquagain completed the 2nd stage of the modernisation of Søllested wastewater treatment plant.

There has been excellent communication with the developer and consultant throughout the project, as well as superb collaboration with the earth and concrete contractor and electrician, which has meant that all buildings and agreements have been complied with and handed over on time despite a final building period with the challenges caused by Covid-19.

Aquagain’s part of the project at Søllested wastewater treatment plant has included a new process and finishing tank, retention basin, outlet and sewer overflow, pump cellar and blower room.

Aquagain has been responsible for the delivery and installation of, among other things, all the aeration equipment, including blowers and diffusers, complete sludge scraper bridge with gutters and inlet pipes, agitation equipment with walkways and hoisting equipment, as well as covers, pumps, valves, flow meters and piping systems.
