Aquagain proudly announces the achievement of a remarkable milestone: the production of flat pallet number 1000. This milestone signifies a decade of close collaboration and dedication to quality.

The celebration of the production of flat pallet number 1000, for secure transport of concrete elements, took place on November 24, 2023, where the entire production team, administration, as well as past and current customers participated in the event.

CEO Aslak Skjøth welcomed everyone and initiated the festivities with a speech, after which flat pallet number 1000 was sent off into the world, bathed in a bottle of bubbles.

The story of flat pallet number 1000

The story behind each flat pallet is one of collaboration and innovation. It unexpectedly began back in 2007 when Hardy Christensen from the haulage company Svend Åge Kristensen & Sons approached us with an order for 20 flat pallets.

Despite our significant presence in the wastewater industry, we consistently adhered to our roots and DNA as the local blacksmith—and that's how Hardy Christensen knew us.

The production of flat pallets progressed steadily for a few years until it gained momentum in 2016, when the quality of our flat pallets was recognized by several major transport companies and pallet factories, choosing us as their preferred supplier.

'The Sled Dog' and the Sled Musher

A remarkable story in this journey is the tale of our employee, Torben Ebsen Pedersen, better known as 'The Sled Dog'. The nickname is affectionate and reflects his tireless effort and dedication to the production of flat pallets—or sleds, as they are internally called.

In his address, CEO Aslak Skjøth says, "Torben has played a crucial role in the production of 950 out of the 1000 flat pallets, and all along, he has approached the task with the same zeal, an eye for new solutions, ideas, pride, and respect for craftsmanship."

"No 'Sled Dog' without a sled musher," Aslak Skjøth continues in his speech; Lars Nielsen (sales and project management) has been the driving force behind the project internally at Aquagain from the very beginning. "Lars has been diligent and imaginative in finding solutions that are both cost-effective and of high quality," says Aslak Skjøth.
